Friends of Belmont County Juvenile Court, Inc. is a not for profit 501(3)(C) corporation that supports the rehabilitation efforts, substance abuse programming and healthy lifestyle choices offered by the Belmont County Juvenile Court to youth and families of Belmont County, Ohio. The corporation was started in 2005 in order to provide a means for accepting tax deductible donations from caring individuals, companies, and organizations who wanted to voluntarily assist the Court with these important programs. The corporation provides a means for accepting tax deductible donations which are then used to defray the costs of various programs that have been developed by the Belmont County Juvenile Court. The funds donated to the corporation are used for expenses such as program graduation ceremonies, incentives and rewards for program participants, drug testing and educational information. Further, the corporation has been instrumental in supporting the incredibly successful and effective “Belmont Schools Staying Clean Club” which continues to grow and is making a meaningful difference in the prevention of substance abuse amongst our most valuable resources, the youth of Belmont County!
