Parking is available on several public streets in the downtown area of St. Clairsville. Many parking spots are metered. The Public Defender parking lot is available behind the courthouse on Newell Avenue with limited spaces. Parking behind the St. Clairsville library is available on South Market Street.
Please note the parking lot directly behind the Courthouse is NOT public parking. Signs are posted for employees only.
To enter into the Courthouse, please go to the front of the building and under the stairs for access into the first floor. No other doors are open and you must enter through this entrance and go through security passing through a metal detector.
The Court of Common Pleas, Probate and Juvenile Division, is located on the second floor of the Courthouse, Room 204. Please enter the court offices through the door across from the elevator. If you are here for a court appearance, please have a seat in the hall and the bailiff will call your name for your hearing.
